Deluxe grilled cheese with 3 Pepper Sauce
Ingredients
- ¾ lb beef flank
- 2 tbsp. steak spices
For the topping:
- Butter for the bread
- ¼ cup Canton® 3 Pepper sauce
- Pepper sauce
- 8 slices loaf bread
- 8 slices Oka-style cheese
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Arugula to taste
Directions
- Preheat barbecue on medium high.
- Lightly coat meat with steak spices and place on grate.
- Grill 3 to 4 minutes per side. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing meat.
- Place a cast iron griddle or skillet on grate to preheat.
- Butter the outside of bread slices and spread with 3 Pepper sauce on the inside. Add a slice of cheese, then meat, green onions, a second slice of cheese, and arugula. Close with a slice of bread.
- Repeat for all 4 sandwiches.
- Place on cast iron griddle and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Serve immediately.
