Chicken tacos with honey garlic sauce
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. canola oil
- 1 lb chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 2 red red bell peppers, cut into strips
- 1 red onion, minced
- ¼ cup Canton Honey & Garlic sauce
- 8 soft or hard taco shells
Toppings:
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 ½ cups cilantro, chopped
- 2 cups Iceberg lettuce
- Sour cream, to taste
- Lime wedges
Directions
- Preheat barbecue on medium high, then place a cast iron griddle on top.
- Brush with oil, add chicken, and cook 5 to 6 minutes. Add peppers and onions and continue cooking for 3 minutes. Add Honey & Garlic sauce, mixing non-stop.
- Fill taco shells with the chicken and vegetable mixture; top with tomatoes, cilantro, lettuce, and sour cream.
- Serve immediately with lime wedges.
