Pulled Pork Tacos
Ingredients
1 pork shoulder, 3 lb (1.4 kg), cleaned and trimmed
5 garlic cloves, chopped
1 big yellow onion, chopped
2 cups (500 mL) The Original® Broth
½ cup (125 mL) Honey & Garlic Sauce
Salt and fresh ground pepper
8 hard taco shells
1 ½ cups (375 mL) grated aged Cheddar cheese
2 cups (500 mL) chopped lettuce
½ cup (125 mL) sour cream
Cilantro, to taste
Directions
- Place pork shoulder in slow cooker. Add garlic, onion, broth and Canton sauce, salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
- Shred the meat with a fork.
- Fill the taco shells with pulled pork. Garnish with cheese, lettuce, sour cream and cilantro to taste.
