Chicken tacos with honey garlic sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. canola oil
  • 1 lb chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 2 red red bell peppers, cut into strips
  • 1 red onion, minced
  • ¼ cup Canton Honey & Garlic sauce
  • 8 soft or hard taco shells

Toppings:

  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 ½ cups cilantro, chopped
  • 2 cups Iceberg lettuce
  • Sour cream, to taste
  • Lime wedges

Directions

  1. Preheat barbecue on medium high, then place a cast iron griddle on top.
  2. Brush with oil, add chicken, and cook 5 to 6 minutes. Add peppers and onions and continue cooking for 3 minutes. Add Honey & Garlic sauce, mixing non-stop.
  3. Fill taco shells with the chicken and vegetable mixture; top with tomatoes, cilantro, lettuce, and sour cream.
  4. Serve immediately with lime wedges.
