Ingredients

30 mL (2 tbsp) olive oil
450 g (1 lb) ground beef
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 can (540 mL) crushed tomatoes
250 mL (1 cup) Canton® Beef-Onion broth
500 mL (2 cups) water
30 mL (1 tbsp) chipotle pepper (optional)
250 mL (1 cup) sour cream

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, heat olive oil and cook ground beef 5 minutes (or until lightly browned).
  2. Add in all the ingredients (except sour cream) to the pan.
  3. Stir and simmer over low heat about 15 minutes.
  4. Serve in bowls with a dollop of sour cream in the middle.
