Grilled Cheese Pizza Pita
Ingredients
⅔ lb (300 g) grilling cheese, cut into ¼-in (1-cm) thick slices
4 large pita breads
½ cup (125 mL) the OriginalTM Sauce
2 cups (500 mL) arugula
1 cup (250 mL) cherry tomatoes, cut in halves
½ red onion, thinly sliced
½ cup (125 mL) pecans
Salt and fresh ground pepper
Directions
1. Preheat barbecue to 400˚F (200°C). Oil the grate well.
2. Grill cheese and pitas 1 minute per side.
3. Transfer each pita to a plate and spread generously with The OriginalTM sauce. Top with arugula, cheese, tomatoes, onion and pecans.
4. Season generously and serve
