Melted Brie in the embers
Ingredients
- 1 Brie or Camembert cheese, about 375 g
- 1 French baguette, sliced
- Canton Sriracha sauce, to taste
- 2 cups arugula
- Fleur de sel and ground pepper, to taste (optional)
Directions
- Place cheese on two square sheets of aluminum foil, about 12 in. wide. Lift and scrunch the paper around cheese to keep it in place during cooking or transfer to a mall cast iron pan.
- Place on the still-hot embers of a campfire and cook for about 15 minutes or until cheese is very soft to the touch.
- Place cheese in the centre of the table and spread Canton Sriracha sauce lightly over bread. Add melted cheese and some arugula to serve. Enjoy.
